This is the map I made about how lonely koala tried to find a home with different animals. None of the animals were like him and so it would be difficult for him to live with them. In the end he found his koala family and he was happy.
Today after morning tea, I decided to finish off the activities in my learning pack. I hadn't made the daffodils yet. I got four pieces of paper and followed the instructions. At first they were tricky but I managed to work it out.
The folding was the hardest part because you have to fold them evenly and neatly.
I am happy with how my spring origami flower has turned out.
Today, after we finished prayers we made rosary beads. Mrs Agnew showed us what to do and then she gave us each a plastic bag with ten of the same coloured beads and three other single beads and a plastic string. I chose a yellow string and red beads.
Firstly, we had to take the ten beads and the plastic string. Then we threaded the beads from one side to the other, using the string and pushing it through the middle of the beads. These ten ten beads are a decade for when say the "Hail Mary".
Then, when we had finished putting the ten beads on the string, we had to thread the three single beads onto a double string. This was a little more difficult because it was hard to thread the double string through the small hole. We tied a knot. The three beads are for us to say the Hail Mary,Glory be and the Our Father.
In the end Mrs Deeney gave us a white label to draw a cross on and to write our names. We made the rosary because it is the month of the rosary.I can't wait to use my rosary.
My family loves me very very much because they take me to the playground when I’m really upset. I know that my mum loves me because she tells me how good I am at gymnastics. I am the only child in my family, so I get all the ATTENTION.
My favourite family saying is: “Family comes first.”
My favourite aroha symbol is:

Yesterday at lunch we had a man named Dinyar come to our school and teach us table tennis skills. Room 6 was selected to participate. We all sat down and took a selfie and a photo. Dinyar told us to listen and line up to get a ball and a bat. We learned how to hold the bat. We did a competition to see who can last the longest by balancing a ball on the bat.
Grace and Sulia won the competition for our class. The balls were white and orange and the balls were light and tiny. We played table tennis under the canopy. We learned the basic skills. I was struggling to balance the ball but I tried. It was hard because the wind was blowing towards me. My ball kept going on to the field because I kept hitting it in that direction. I was getting better and better. Next I practiced balancing the ball on the bat. The bell rang so I put my ball and my bat away and went back to class.
