The Elephant and The Monkey

Learning Goal: I am learning to write a narrative text.

Success criteria: I can do this when I have

•  a Title
• Beginning: Who is the story about?
• Middle: describe the problem and the solution
• End: What happened at the end?

Once an elephant saw a monkey. The monkey said don't eat me. I may be able to help you one day.

One day the elephant's trunk got stuck on the branches of a tree. The monkey shook the branches and the elephant's trunk dropped down.

I am free, said the elephant. The monkey saved me.

The Noisy Traffic

Learning goal: We are learning to write a descriptive text.

Success criteria: We can do this when We can use describing  words.
I can see the speeding cars roar along the road. The noisy trucks sound like a thundering noise as they rumble past.

The Weather

Learning goal: We are learning to write a descriptive text.

Success criteria: We can do this when We can use describing  words.

It is very hot today. The fiery sun is very hot. The sun makes me sweaty. I drink  lots of water. The water cools me down. The sun makes me tired and sleepy.
